Hi,
I’d be interested in buying any collections of WW2 shrapnel that your members may have collected. I want to make a sculpture, dedicated to the Royal Artillery, roughly the shape and size of a 25-pounder shell with cartridge case. (My late father served with 25-pdrs with the 15th Scottish). I already have a small collection from my own days of metal detecting 30+ years ago but I need a fair bit more. Pieces with timer markings etc especially welcome, should make the piece more interesting to look at.
