Following on from the talk at the Eden Valley Museum, Ken & Gill visited the museum recently and viewed Bryan’s display. In the two local papers they also bought on that day was the following advert:
‘Pills, Potions and Poisons at the Eden Valley Museum, Church House, 72 High Street, Edenbridge, to Sat December 21, free. Short history of hospitals and healthcare in Eden Valley from 1075 to 2012. Lost and Found guest exhibition, to May 18, free. Eden Valley artefacts found by West Kent Detector Club. Open Wed, Fri 2 to 4.30pm; Thurs, Sat, 10am to 4.30pm. www.evmt.org.uk’
In support of a display put on at the Edenbridge Museum by club member Bryan, Geoff will be talking at the museum on Saturday 9th March starting at 3pm.
Club members will have heard the ‘Favourite Finds’ talk before and have seen Geoff’s 16 case display of finds but might like to come along and support the event.
Geoff presented his talk at the museum to about 30 people and here are some photos. With thanks to Andy (WKDC & WKAS), Sally (WKAS), Micaela (Webmaster/photographer), Bryan (WKDC) who attended and assisted with the displays and explanations to the public.
