Pierre – who has been putting his considerable bulk about (in a good way) to further the interests of the club, and detecting in general, reminds me that Joan Allen of Biggin Hill give 10% discount to club members on production of a membership card. I know more recent recruits are cardless – I only had a few left when I inherited the membership meister role and the info was on a 20th century floppy disc and since my machine is not steam driven, it is of no use. I am in the throes of producing more cards so, in the meantime, if you require confirmation of your status I can supply a letter.
