As soon as Geoff and I got back from our holiday I was approached by one of our neighbours whose wife had lost her wedding ring. The lady was not sure where she had lost it as she had been bowling, swimming and gardening that day. She had checked with the bowls club and the swimming pool to see if the ring had been handed in and her husband had raked the gravel in their front garden and dug around in the compost heap in the back garden but all to no avail!
The ‘detector squad’ convined at their house on Friday morning and within ten minutes Geoff had found the ring amongst the gravel on the front garden area! The pictures show him returning it to the delighted owner.
