Last search for 2018 was well attended by 17 club members and again the weather was good, cold and a few showers in the morning and bright blue skys in the afternoon. It was obvious that the north field had not been searched before as a couple of members found hoards of victorian copper coins and four sixpences in good condition, even the copper coins were less corroded than normal. As for artefacts lots of musket balls and a number of interesting pieces were also found.
