Digging deep

Well done Stuart and David for the recovery of a casket of ashes buried twenty years ago. The exact location and depth was not known  nor was it known from what material the casket was made. Stuart spent three hours carrying out major excavations with detecting being hampered by surrounding metalwork in the fencing.

David took over the next day and eventually unearthed the metal casket 27″ beneath the surface in heavy clay. The house is about to be sold so the relatives were delighted that the ashes were found and can be relocated – perhaps with a clear marker and not so deep.

Could be this will be the first time the Recovery Award will be a joint presentation.

This is a very good advert for our recovery service.
