Fifteen members enjoyed a bright spring day with a breeze with a “slight edge” to it, on two maize stubble fields and several pastures with short grass and some rather boggy areas.
Dave Clark found one gold hallmarked cufflink – not sure he did the dance. An “amaizing” find you could say. Mike Burgess found several pre decimal coins. Also coming up were the usual ordnance and buckles etc. plus a sack seal. Peter Hoban’s “hammered” turned out to be shrapnel. My dog id disc belonged to Teddy – still sniffing around.
